AmphiStar has been announced as the winner in the ‘Emerging Company’ category at the 2026 Changemakers Awards, recognising its contribution to advancing sustainable solutions in the fight against climate change.
Organised by Belgian newspapers De Tijd and L’Echo in collaboration with BNP Paribas Fortis, the Changemakers Awards searches for the 30 Belgian companies with the best solutions to climate change. AmphiStar was selected from this shortlist together with five other initiatives to present its case to the jury, with candidates assessed against European climate targets for 2030 as well as for their concrete and measurable impact and their broader social responsibility.

Alongside AmphiStar, Haemers Technologies received the ‘Established Company’ award, while Alsico was recognised with the ‘Audience Award’, highlighting a strong group of Belgian companies driving sustainable innovation across industries.
The Changemakers Awards bring together companies that demonstrate how innovation and entrepreneurship can deliver scalable impact, while combining environmental responsibility with economic value creation and wider social responsibility.
